The Munster Bar

Welcome to The Munster Bar situated in the heart of Waterford City in Waterford’s Viking Triangle. You can find us directly across from The House of Waterford Crystal beside City Hall on The Mall or also on “Bailey’s New Street” across from the Medieval French Church. The Munster Bar is possibly Waterford’s oldest pub with a tavern on the site for at least 350 years. We can cater for any size party small or large. The Munster is situated on the Mall which has always been Waterford’s most gracious street. We share the Mall with Reginald’s Tower; Ireland’s oldest inhabited building, the historic City Hall incorporating the famous Victorian Theatre Royal, the new Bishop’s Palace Museum and the House of Waterford Crystal-All within easy reach of our front door.We serve home cooked Irish Food which includes Bar Food, Carvery Lunch, Evening Meal, Early Bird Menu and cater for Private Functions. We are also beside Waterford’s Theatre Royal and offer a Pre-Theatre Menu.
