“We are situated in the middle of Glenbeigh village on the main Ring of Kerry road just over 1.5 kilometres from the beautiful Rossbeigh Beach and 3km from Dooks Golf Links.

Our premises was established back in 1988 firstly as general merchants and grocery store by the O Sullivan family. In June 2002 Peadar O Sullivan decided to close the grocery store and re open as a pub. The renovation was carried out by Peadars brother Derry , the shop closed its doors after over 100 years of business on April 7th 2002 and re opens its doors as a pub on June 10th 2002. Today the pub is as a family business by Peadar Mary & their son Peter, (Peter is a 4th generation O Sullivan). Ashes Bar is a traditional family pub , where you can enjoy a good pint and chat in a friendly atmosphere with traditional Irish music in the summer months. We take great pride in providing our customers all majors sporting events on our TVs. Lastly we are very proud sponsors of the local GAA club who in February 2017 really put our small community on the map by becoming All Ireland Junior Club Football champions. We also support other local organisations.”

Ashes Bar is in the heart of Glenbeigh village. Ashes is a traditional friendly bar to drop in for a drink and a chat with your friends or sit by the fire for a quiet pint. We have 5 screens to enjoy your favorite sports and we regularly have live music during the summer. On a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
