About

An Púcán, Galway bar & restaurant serves the finest food and drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all set to the backdrop of live music sessions.

Whether you’re after a great night out, fancy a bite to eat, or are an avid rugby fan, An Pucan has something for everyone. With two bars, two smoking areas, a large outdoor beer garden and free live music daily, it’s no wonder An Pucan is on the top of everyone’s tongue.

Every evening, the front bar plays host to some of the city’s most well-known traditional live musicians, and every Friday and Saturday, expect to see amazing coverbands in the back bar. Every Saturday night, An Pucan is open late with a DJ in the back bar.

If it’s a meal you’re after, try the restaurant’s heated beer garden to the back or tuck yourself into one of the cosy booths. They’ve got breakfast all day, gourmet sandwiches, a range of starters and mains, and plenty of bits to share.

And then if you’re an avid rugby or football follower, there are HD televisions with Sky Sports, RTE sports and more tuned in. No matter where you’re seated, you’ll have the best view of the game.

And then there’s the drink – oh, the drink. An Pucan just recently released their own gin which by all accounts is a must-try. On top of that, they’ve over 150 whiskeys from across the globe, locally brewed craft beer, and boutique wines. Pick your poison, or pick several.

So for a night out, a treat-yourself dinner, a rugby match or just a few quiet pints with friends, swing by An Pucan. It’s the obvious choice.
