Welcome to An Seanachai Pub and Kitchen situated in the Sunny South East of Ireland in the wonderful county that is Waterford. The An Seanachai became a pub in 1846 when the adjacent Famine Grave was opened and mourners came to bury their loved ones. In Irish An Seanachai means storyteller and the Seanachai would traditionally pass down the local history through stories many being told around the open fire. In An Seanachai Pub and Kitchen that original fireplace in still in daily use and is one of our unique points of interest of which there are many. The Venue@anSeanachai is a multi purpose function room to the rear of the property. Completely enclosed it has amazing flexabilty and offers customers a wonderful opportunity to create there own bespoke event be it a wedding, corporate event or a family party.
