About

Unique traditional thatched pub with warm open fires and lovely atmosphere . Great food and drink, and a unique atmosphere that make this Traditional Irish pub well worth a visit.
Situated along the Wild Atlantic Way you will know it once you see it. A beautiful old stone building with a traditional thatched roof and a green door. On the outside it looks like a traditional Irish Cottage with exceptional character. On entering the first thing that draws your attention is the glowing open fires. It is surprisingly spacious with room for all. The Singing Pub also known as An Sibin Ceoil experience is always one to remember – whether it be to come for a quiet drink, a chat with the bar person, a sing along with the local tradional bands or a bite to eat. Widely known for our good homemade wholesome food at affordable prices. The bar food ranges from homemade soup or chowder with homemade bread to a full a la varte menu including our famous Seafood Platter and mouth watering Steak on the Lava Stone. The restaurant menu changes weekly and the fresh local seafood is always a hit. The seating is comfortable therefore we are able to cater for small to very large groups. The Singing Pub is extremly child and family friendly having been a family run business for nearly 30 years. The Singing Pub pride itself on a friendly, prompt service and are rewarded when we see customers return so often. Being a seasonal business when things quieten down the local community keep the craic going and lots of visitors look forward to coming back to meet their old friends. There is a local committee who strive to keep the area as unspoilt as possible and have regular clean up evenings in order to attract tourists. It is important to mention that Irish is the first language of most of the locals and as our moto goes in An Sibin Ceoil “ma ta gaelic agat – leabhar i”. We also cater for camper vans and touring caravans with ample space. There are a range of different musicians almost everynight in summer months and weekends in winter with the Sunday session always being a hit.
